Ishtahfeetah Soapery was founded in 2017, by husband & wife team Jeremy and Sarah.  In a world of chaos, simplicity is truly one of the precious things in this life.  Ishtahfeetah Soapery is a nod to the tenets of Scandinavian minimalism, and Jeremy’s Norwegian grandmother’s expression, “ishtahfeetah!” when her young grandchildren would get dirty. 

 

We set out to create beautiful, minimalist-inspired, natural soap to calm your senses, nourish your skin, and enhance your lifestyle.  Everyone needs soap.  But not all soap is created equal.  Unlike mass-produced, detergent-based 'soap,' we create soap in small, handcrafted batches, using natural, skin-loving ingredients.  Each unique soap slice is a sculptural statement piece for your shower/soaker tub sanctuary.  

Using the traditional cold process method of soap-making, we are able to individually select each ingredient, and craft your bar of soap from scratch.  We use skin-nourishing oils and butters, and color our soap with natural ingredients.  Cosmetic clays from the Earth provide beautiful color, as well as impart their beneficial skin properties (oil absorption, skin detoxification, & mild exfoliation), while blends of essential oils enhance your experience.  For those with sensitivities, we offer unscented/additive-free soap varieties.  Back to purity; back to simplicity.
